...the battery compartment on the 25th? This would also be the same for Big Al, and Bongo. I can't seem to get it open using my fingers. Do you need to use like a butter knife or something?

Thanks Guys

I think the clip just pinches in and then it swings out from the other side... It stays attached on the end away from the clip and the battery comes with the compartment. I hope that was a tad bit clearer than mud.

Jesus christ yes please do a video because when it arrived my dad said he opened the compartment and I tried once but didn't manage to and my bongo could probably do with a change of batteries soon

Still a fictional bass.

@Sycip: Nah, John made it materialize in the other thread :)

@John: Try using the tip of a flathead screwdriver to gently release the compartment.... These things are usually a matter of finesse and not force.

Funny story about that. I received my (now moved on) 20th in the old style case and couldn't figure out the latches. I tried turning the circles, pushing them in, fiddling with the lock, etc. I finally called my geetar friend for help.... While I was on the phone with him, my wife walks over, bends down and INSTANTLY pushes it out to the side and opens the latch. I felt more "special" than normal that day.

This is why I will never mind doing a video like this. :)

PS: I actually worked in radio for a couple years.... I can talk purdy, but unfortunately didn't have anything too interesting to say. One day I'll get back in to doing voice work... But thanks for the kudos.
