How easy to turn Sr5 3 band to 2 ? Bypass Mid

Has anybody re-wired their 3 band Ernie to 2 band, bypassing the Mid control. Is it easy to do? Any schematics to do this? I also prefer the 2 band, minus Mid control.

The circuits of the 2-band and 3-band have completely different circuit designs and different characteristics. The 2-band is bass boost and treble cut/boost whereas the 3-band is cut/boost at treble, mid and bass. The best way to achieve what you want would be to fit a geniune 2-band pre-amp instead of the 3-band.
