How frequently do you change the battery in your Lukes?

How often do you guys change the batteries in your Lukes / other active guitars?

I don't have a set rate when I change them in my JPs. I do however write the date on the battery with a sharpie marker when I install it. That way when I crack it open at some point, I'll say, "whoa, that's been in there a while". It really depends how how much you play. You could always try the 9 volt tongue test, LOL.

I can usually hear when the battery is starting to fade a little... my Luke gets a lot of work so it's no big deal....
