How long from the end of the fretboard to the single coil on an HS Sterling?

i wanted to know the distance between the end of the fretboard and the single coil on a single coil/humbucker sterling is. i have not been able to try an HS sterling here in toronto as i haven't found any in the stores. i like to do lots of slapping and popping and was hoping there's enough space for those techniques. thanks in advance!

i did a rough measure using a 6 inch straight edge and my measurment comes out to 27 inches from the nut to the middle of the single coil's poles

oh... and in case i misunderstood;

its 2 12/32 inches from the 22nd fret
or 1 28/32 from the end of the fretbord

this is all +/- 2/32ish of an inch

I think when I first got the HS, I hit my fingers on the S pickup for a while. Your technique and mine could be totally different, as I don't slap too much.

popping on an HS Sterling is pretty easy. HH Sterling took a bit to get used to but the HS was no issue at all for me

The spacing is even narrower on a HH Bongo (a bit more than 1/2" I think) and I have no problems popping. Playing slap and pop well, however, is a different issue.

thank you VERY MUCH guys for you responses - i tried a HH bongo and the neck humbucker was completely pushing my fingers out of the way when attempting to pop and was wondering if this would happen on HS sterling. i'm going to measure my fakeland, oops, i mean lakland and see how much space it has. ;-)

i mean, im a pick player and i can slap and pop w/ no problem at all
