how long is the wait?

I custom-ordered a Stingray 5 (burnt apple, rosewood fingerboard, black pearloid pickguard, piezo pickups -- my dream bass!) on September 15, and was told at the time by the music store I ordered it through that it would be ready in about two months (which is about now). But after reading some other posts about it taking four months or more for a custom-ordered Stingray to be made, I am wondering if I was misinformed. Any idea what the *actual* waiting period is? Please don't tell me I have to wait another two months!

Normal backorder is about 90-120 days. Check with your dealer on the status of your bass. We can give them an update on the order.
