Hey eveyone, I'm just curious as to how many guitars and basses were made with the Blue Dawn finish when it came out. If anybody knows that would be great. And how long was the finish produced for? Thanks for the replies in advance. ;)

Ernie Ball MusicMan instruments sparkle with new color finishes

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (March 15, 2001) - Ernie Ball Music Man instruments now feature new eye-catching color finishes, from "Autumn Red Rise" to "Las Vegas Gold." Recently displayed at the NAMM Music Show in January, the new colors are now available on all instruments.

The new color options are:

* White Sparkle - White, with a sparkle finish.

* Autumn Red Rise - A red and orange sparkle finish with colors fading from the top to bottom across the face of the instrument, creating a sunrise effect.

* Burnt Apple - A red sparkle finish in a traditional sunburst format.

* Blue Dawn - A blue sparkle finish in a traditional sunburst format.

* Autumn Red Burst - A red and orange sparkle finish in a traditional sunburst format.

* Las Vegas Gold - Featuring a solid gold color.

* Gunsmoke - A stylish and brighter shade of silver.

Reviews:

"Autumn Red Rise is a very unique finish and unde of silver."

"Autumn Red Rise is a very unique finish and unlike anything I've ever seen. It's vibrant and flashy, yet maintains classic appeal at the same time," said Byron Smith, product manager for Ernie Ball, when asked about the new colors. They can be viewed at Ernie Ball/Music Man

hopefully the 07 LE BD is the first of a few more years of sparkle re-issues! Some of those old sparkles would surely sell better now. but i guess you can only go by past sales figures.

Yea like maybe the white sparkle or las vegas gold:D ....That would be nice an EBMM guitar in las vegas gold WOW!!!!
