Much much too late.....10 years ago.
Here in the Netherlands most players use F...or G..... There are some PRS's in the 'upper region'.
MM is famous for its necks for a long time, and for the basses. But you do not see MM that often here, but that is changing! (Or is it because I am an enthousiastic user myself; like when you buy a new car you see the same everywhere..)
Would like to be addicted 20 years ago!

Well, I would have been 20 when I picked up my Luke I back in April 1994.
I'm 34 now and it's still going strong :) Although it's about due for a refret.

Errr... 49!
I know, but I'd never played a MM until then. Then I sold a LP & bought a JP 7-string:cool:
And then a SUB guitar this January.
But I still want a JP-6 in Mystic Dream (where's the drool smilie?)

42...two years ago.

I feel dirty...like I'm cheating on my wife whenever I think about buying (or even playing) a different brand.

Still patiently saving for the Axis but I really think I need a Silo too!

And a Bongo bass so I can play the big strings if I need to:)

27...just over a month ago.

I have NO IDEA why I waited so long. I've been wanting a JP since they came out...and I made the mistake of buying a Les Paul before a JP...

I don't touch the LP any more...

Looks like I get the coveted curmudgeon late bloomer award so far, at 60. :)

I think I was 24. About '96. A beautiful Silhouette (Sunburst, tortoise shell PG, Maple neck, FR Trem).

I was 22 and it was back in November 2007. It was so beautiful day for me when my brand new JP LE07 came. To make that happened I had sold my previous guitar, and many other stuff, had gave up few years of savings...but it was more than worth it! I'm in love with this guitar, I cherish it every single day and I'm grateful I can be one of those people, who have this previlige to meet perfection and beauty when it comes to musical instruments!

Now I'm looking forward for another day like that one :)

Best,
Mike

I was 27 when I bought an Axis. Didn't keep that guitar too long actually as I didn't click with the Floyd Rose. It was a sweet feeling/sounding axe though!
