Are you in, say, Iceland or perhaps Cambodia?

Did you get the November information from your dealer? Did he have a Ouija Board or a Magic 8-ball nearby?

What is your favorite color?

Usually the factory is in the ballpark with delivery times. Lots of factors involved, though.....

+1 to what Jack said, although not sure about the favourite colour thing...

If you're in the EU, you also have to take into account shipping times and the like, as they can impact the delivery times.

They are pretty close on their estimates... But as the other two said if there is an imported or distributor involved that could affect things but hopefully if they are the ones giving the estimate they've factored that in.

Let's just say they are better than Microsoft is when it comes to meeting they're estimated delivery dates....

When Pete Dubaldo tells me the month we can expect it, the bass always shows up on that month.

I ordered my Stingray Classic in April. I was told it would arrive in September but then later on found out it would be July. I ended up getting it around mid July sometime. I have no problems when ordering something, having to wait as long as when I get said product, it is what was advertised. With my bass, it was way more than what I expected as far as quality and craftsmanship goes.

I had an inordinatly long wait last night for my Pollo Mole.

I was tired of eating chips/salsa and complained to Nancy Lee (she had ordered a less-complex enchilada verde)

She reminded me that good food takes time to prepare.

Think of your build as a complex mole.

(BTW, I've been waiting since last November for a Bass (not a MM) that I hope to have delivery by this April.)

It'll be worth it, like the mole was.

Now you have to explain to him what mole is.

Mole is a rich chile sauce with a hint of sweet chocolate that is usually served with shredded chicken. It is the standard birthday party fare as well as a lunch-time treat.

Did someone tell you November recently? We are booking into late feb right now

A friend is picking me up a Stingray from Musicians friend, nothing custom order or anything.. But out of stock until late November.. (so, I'm guessing a company like that would have placed their stock order ages ago).
Of course with some manufacturers if they told you 'late nov', you would have to follow it with 'yes.. But which YEAR?!'

I only ask as there are other colour, pickup options available now.. But, if it's as guys are saying, EB is generally on time.. Late nov is no problem!

<Snip>

Around my parts, it is pronounced moe-LAY, and is usually how one judges a new Mexican restaurant. The trick is the proper use of the chocolate... yum-o.

Enough of the hijack. :)
