How to ID new "universal" case?

I found a good deal on a used EBMM case, but I need to find out if it's one of the new cases that will work for a Bongo 5.

Are there any quick ways of telling the difference without having two cases side-by-side to compare?

Well, I belive the new cases(I had one for a while) are longer total to fit the Bongo 5's and the inside shape is different to help hold the bongo too...I don't think there's anything else that would tell you if its a new one or not.

If that's the "case", does anyone have the overall length of the new case? I have two of the old ones I can measure here.

I wish I could help, but I sold the Ray that I had the new case with. I wish I would of just gotten an older case and kept the new one.
