Is there any way to determine where a certain Music Man guitar was shipped closest to my area? Like to a specific dealer?
I'll be traveling up to San Antonio & Austin next week and would like to know if there are any dealers in that area with a JPXI to check out.

Thanks,
darchirnoj

I am not sure about San Antonio, but Austin has a big music community and I am sure you will be able to find one there. I would start out by calling ahead and checking the GC's in both cities, then the other well known stores. Just Google guitar shops in both cities and write down the listings.

Absolutely- the CS guys keep track of where all the stock goes! Drop them a line and they can help you find something specific.

This would be an awsome feature to have with "no touch contact" internet search functions.

I often go looking around for guitars when I have no driving desire to buy one. But when I find something that I think I might want, I get in the car and go see it. Heck.....I drove half an hour today to see a couple guitars I found on the GC used section. Played them both. Brought them both up to the counter to make an offer to bring em both home, failed to agree on a price, drove back to work. Had they come down $60, I would have bought both of them. They were used and beat up, so my offer was pretty reasonable.

But if I had to call anyone, I won't. I'm anti-social that way. Give me web pictures and where it is and I'm on my way. Besides my Axis....I would say that all of my other guitars have been impulse buys like that. I think I have 11 or 12 now. I'm actually losing count.

There use to be a Locate EBMM dealers and it use to show a listing of their inventory. But if memory serves me right, the problem they had was that most dealers wouldn't update their inventory list.

I used this to locate my Albert Lee.
