The bridge on my Luke is "screwed" down, and i would like to know how loosen it up and use the whamy bar. Will the guitar come out of tune if i do this? I'm just learning to play and want to know what my guitar can do. Thanks- EMPYREAN

With your guitar tuned, loosen the two big screws in the trem cavity in the back of the guitar so the back of the bridge lifts a little. The strings will have de-tuned a little, so re-tune the guitar. Now measure the gap between the back of the bridge and the top of the guitar. Adjust, re-tune, and measure as needed to get approximately 3 mm (1/8") gap.

I swear to Petrucci that I read this "How to loosen bridge on a Luke & use vibrator."

It is far, far too early.
