Loving the new Axis, but getting use to the new "pop in" style tremolo arm. It is certainly easy to insert and remove it, but I miss the free swinging feel. When I use the bar, I am use to just dropping the bar as opposed to having to push it out of they way. Does anyone with a tribute know how to make the new pop in arm swing loose?

If you dive down the trem and look under the bridge plate, there is a little allen set screw on the brass block. Loosening that screw will allow the arm to swing freely.

Here is my tribute bridge removed. You can see the little set screw in the upper right corner of the brass block.

Hmmm. I tried loosening this screw but it didn't do much. The arm moves a bit more freely, but doesn't drop down when let go.
