Does it rotate? Just wondering if there's some dirt in there, making it too tight.

Random thought- if you depress the bar there's a small set screw on the underside of the trem that controls the fit of the bar. You could try loosening it a bit and see if that helps. Or perhaps a lubricant- WD40 or something. Or just try hauling on it!

It's mounted to the body, not adjustable. Unless someone has shimmed it.

Why do you think it's too high?

The gain is too hard and creates some distorsion and problems with delay when attack the strings...

Plus, the neck pickup is not equilibrate with the bridge pickup, neck have really less output in it's actual position...

It's mounted on the body, not adjustable  It's a guitar that should be ok for professional, how can it be not adjustable

By the way, the trem bar rotate yes, i don't think there's a problem with dirt, i already tried to change the small set screw on the underside of the trem, i loosened it, a lot, and doesn't change anything, the trem arm is still blocked in it...

Jul, the trem arm should just pull straight up, it's detented in there, so you might need to give a little pull. If you tighten the set screw make sure you untighten it, otherwise the arm won't come out.

OH man!! I finally did it! It was hard... I never though i would have to pull so hard!

The small set screw is a bit tight, yes, but is that dangerous for when i pull out put in the trem arm...?

Still the pickups problem

Lots of guitars have body mounted pickups, it's just a feature of the model, no reflection of "professionals" using it. (Keep in mind the Axis started life as the EVH model and he wanted body-mounted pickups.) Same deal with the Luke guitar. (If Luke isn't a professional .... I don't know who is.)

The output of neck and bridge should be roughly the same. They do have a fair amount of output though, that's normal. If you feel they're really out of balance then perhaps the heights were adjusted before you got it. I had one where the pickups were shimmed, raising them slightly. Personally I loved it.

In any case, you can unscrew the pickups if you're handy and have a look. Or perhaps you can have a tech look at it.

A tech look, not really possible now... There's really now way to lower the brigde PU it seems?

But maybe i can make the neck PU higher? Anyway it will not change that the bridge is too high...

Thanks SO much for the video...that was a great idea!
The only problem is that I can't get the timing right, and I keep yanking on the "one-uh-and a two-uh"...is that going to mess anything up?

We love ya' SPUD!!!

Should be easy enough to see if the p'up was shimmed.

I had a Sport and tried to lower the bridge HB too.

Jul bought my Axis Sport. I haven't performed any mods to it, other than changing the trem arm, pickguard, and switch covers. The pickups aren't shimmed to my knowledge. To my ear, the pickups were very even. I think the neck pickup might have been favoring the midrange a little more than I'm used to.
