Which is the best way to store musicman guitars after the play - for home daily users.

1. Put guitar to stand (standing on body)
2. Put guitar to wall (hanging down from neck)
3. Put guitar in hard case

Why is my neck on petrucci model like bow? When I was buy the guitar it`s been perfect.

I case mine as a rule as I had one get yanked off the stand and it literally snapped the neck......:(

The necks on EBMM's are not "finished" and will need adjustments from time to time....hence, the easy access to the truss rod. 1/4 turn should do the trick. I have to adjust mine every now and then....

I would recommend you case the axe after use...my 2 pennies.

Clean and put back in the case. Best way to store them. Take the guitar and have it set up properly by a tech if the neck is hassling you, or you can try and adjust it yourself if your cool with that. Its not expensive to have it set up. The unfinished necks on EBMM can be sensitive to humidity, but thats the norm for most guitars/bass'. LATE

Well if your humidity levels are consistant in your house(mine Are NOT)and you have a safe location no kids dogs cats then you can display them, but yip Nothing PROTECTS them like the case,BUT i display mine in my Music room for a bit then i case them for a bit ,I am lucky to have a room Just for me and my hobbies in my house i have a rolling 5 space guitar rack hehehehe but yes the necks are sensitive to humidity i had to tweak all 3 Balls and my Takamine LTD this week we are very damp in Nova scotia right now so all the guitars were buzzin ,a quick spin of the wheel and good as new!

I'll occasionally leave one out overnight. Usually back in the bag it goes. I only play 1 or 2, the rest are in the closet.

But I find that if I have one out on a stand I'm also more likely to play it.

I think I read once that Jeff Beck keeps a guitar in every room in the house in case inspiration strikes.

I live in Canada where the humidity levels are anything but steady. I have a house full of kids and pets. And except when I case them to take them somewhere else to play, all my guitars stay out on wall hangers or stands where they can be easily reached and noodled on at any time. Some have been knocked off stands, and I have to tweak the neck relief somewhat regularly, and all of them have the odd bit of "character" (read: battle scars), but I hate having to go dig out a case and open it and attach the strap and close and put away the case every time I want to strum three chords while surfing the net... Besides, we like having a house that's got all these musical instruments lying around it. A couple of weeks ago my daughter had her fifteenth birthday party, and I wandered in the house to find something for the Bar-B-Q out back and her boyfriend was playing pinball wizard on my blue Axis Sport. How cool is that?!? He was wearing a beatles t-shirt too... I love that kid! ;)

I have mine on wall hangers as well, but the kids know that they are off limits unless I'm around... My stepson plays and every now and then he'll grab one when the inspiration hits him. He's fond of the Y2D. He's had friends over who play but I've overheard him telling them they better not even think about touching them.

I like having them available to grab whenever and I've never had issues with setups other than an occasional tweak or two. I make sure they're all in tune at least once a week. I have floor stands but don't like to leave them there too long, I don't want a repeat of what happened to Koogie...
