My main gigs are in churches and today, I could have used a chorus for sure. Really wanna get a few effects to start playing with. When I used to use effects I used passive basses though, and I've always been told that active EQ doesn't work well with pedal.

Thoughts or experiences are welcome! :)

I use phase, chorus and a couple of dirt boxes and mine works perfectly fine with them all. I also have a flanger and the bassballs (don't waste your time with this one) - though I don't use them nearly as often, and they're not even on my gig board. Doesn't seem to matter what I do with EQ, or pickup pan, it always works fine. I've even played an 5HH/p through the same signal chain without any issues.
