Quick question for those in the know out there: Should position 4 (neck and middle single coils) in my Silouette (H/S/S) be hum cancelling? In my strat this position is hum cancelling, but not on my Silouette...is this right?

I think it is right. Silent Circuit is working only when neck pickup is selected

The Silent Circuit isn't working but the two singles should be RWRP and therefore cancel the hum... unless the pickups aren't original...

What Jimi said.

The middle p'up should be reverse wound. When combined with the neck or one coil of the bridge, it should give you a hum-cancelling combination.
