After months of debate (and lots of savings), I took the Bongo plunge yesterday. A cabernet Bongo HS 5 string will now join my ’78 SR4 H and ’06 SR5 HH in a few days (thanks Brandt!). Tom Petty was right – the waiting is the hardest part. Well, convincing my wife that I “really needed” this bass was the hardest part… I’ll get some pics up next week after it arrives. I am proud to join the ranks of you Bongoheads!
