So, I've got two SR5s, and I have been noticing that the E and A strings are a bit "floppy" compared to what I'm used to. I like 45, 65 85 105 strings on my SR4 and other 4 string basses. I just find that I don't like the feel of the 50 and 70 G and D strings. They seem a little too stiff. Some other makers consider the 45 65 85 105 to be a normal gauge.

So, are there any plans to offer a hybrid 5 string gauge, or would the best way to go about that be to get a hybrid 4 string set and buy an extra B string?

Any recommendations? Also, I wonder whether a .130 or .135 B string would go better with the hybrid set.
