I am going to be an EBMM owner in a few weeks

A month ago I put a deposit down on the JPX 7 Pete Dubaldo has on order, and within the next month I hope for it to be out of the factory and in Pete's shop (and a week or two after that, in my hands). Therefore, as of right now, I am on a crash-course to becoming an EBMM owner!

You guys seem like a very nice and hospitable cult, so I am wondering if there is anything I should know about joining this "family" before the BFR that I am very patiently waiting for comes in? Also, how do the recently released JPX 6's look, feel, and sound?

When the guitar does come in, we demand pics immediately. No pics = no guitar. Also, no pictures of the stupid shipping box...that's been done to death. (I was guilty of that myself).

You are right Lovejoy. This is a cool forum that goes very nicely with the cool EBMM guitars. You are going to love the JPX, I thought it was the best playing Petrucci I have ever tried out.

So, what kind of music are you guys into listening to / playing? Personally I am a fan of Dark Tranquility-ish stuff as well as some more Doobie Brothers-ish (both the biker and MacDonald eras) music. And yes, I know those are polar opposites.
