i was jokeing about the secret part. we have talked about plenty of times before. it envolves disconecting the cap on the tone pot and using the pot as a blender for one of the coils in a hummer.in butch's case......the neck hummer.......as he was looking for the neck single coil sound in a y2d. alot of people simply don't use thier tone control that much , and are able to use the pot as a blender.this is easily reversed......& prevents the need to add a switch.i did this to al miller's y2d....and was very plesantly suprised at how well it worked.
i called it secret in hopes to avoid all this typing.......................

And it works beautifully. I keep that pot all the down as the default. It's used for rhythms where I use the neck pickup and leads that require a Stratesque tone. When I use that blender pot to "swell", you can hear the neck pickup tone get "bigger". It's really cool. Again, thanks Tommy! The guitar is back to stock the way it should be....
