Congrats on your 1000th post - nothing wrong in dreaming of a nice str.t - I've been listening to Pink Floyd Pulse for the last week and I can't play any other guitar - Gilmour is the nuts,

Repeat after me.....

Never touch the evil F-Word.

The F-word!
Ha, I tell my kids that the F - word means family!
If you've seen my wife's family, then you'd call it the F-word too! ;)

Slightly off topic.
Ever since I became "addicted" ( 5 cents to you Koogie! ;) put it on my tab), when I go into a guitar shop I now laugh at the site of a "F".
Those guitars are for the geriatric community (no offense). Those GIANT dots!!! Are we going blind? and they're so big and heavy!
I am only 5ft 8inches tall and I have small hands. I don't need a fret board that I need my whole arm length to reach the headstock. :p
EBMM will suit me just fine thank you very much!!!

I thought bashing other brands had been discussed to death on this forum - personally I think the F st..t is the most comfortable guitar in the world to play - they are very very inconsistent, but when they're right, they are great all round guitars. They have their own sound - even my Sil Special doesn't quite have it (although is more versatile in a lot of ways) - to each his/her own - but I have no desire to be F or G or PRS free just because I have EBMM in my collection - just my opinion,

I'm not nocking the competition. Where would the music industry be without them!? I was only making an observation based on my preference.
I hope to have many "different" guitars some day. I love different types of music, and therefore different types of instruments and brands.
I'm having enough trouble getting one at the moment! So for me, I'd like my first in 11 years to be a music man! :)

KILLING YOU!!!!
AHHHHH!!!

Let's put it this way. I'm self employed, and over the last couple of years have have put out a tonne of money to bring my company up to the "next level". Savings, business loans, line of credit, you name it!!! For what I've been paying in interest, I could almost buy a new EBMM every month! So right now I've been putting the final touches on my business upgrade. After I land a few big contracts, I will be getting my Music Man.
Will I custom order? Or grab the first one off the shelf? I don't know. I'm sure it will depend on how desperate I am! (I'm obviously beyond that!)
I do know that I will be getting a Silo with maple fretboard and non-matching headstock. The colour will depend if I custom order or not.
So with that, just pretend I'm the hobo of the forum until I'm officially part of the family!
