I don't know rules about pricing etc., but I had to share this:

Ar our local EBMM dealer's shop: (Zagreb, Croatia - TMS)

USED Morse, totally beat-up, black with Floyd - $2250
NEW Y2D, tobacco sunburst, stoptail - $<dealer price edit>

:(

Sometimes I wish I lived in the US. :D

But isnt their EuRO worth more than the Canadian or US dollar? so i would think that if a distributor paid say 10,000 U.S from EBMM that their Strong euro would bring it down to say 7,500 you would think they would try to pass on some savings to the customer to get them from not buying in the US...........no? sorta like when i sell something on ebay for 10 dollars U.S i get like 12 bucks canadian

Hi Junior.....Kevin from International Customer Service here. I can understand your frustration....However please keep in mind that there are many hidden costs for our distributors when importing American Made goods. Shipping, duties, taxes and additional overhead add up quickly. The same goes when I want to buy a nice bottle of Italian wine here in the States or some of those amazing exotic foods that Cost Plus has(some great European chocolate). Also the Y2D that TMS has in stock is a Permium Top model.

Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any specific questions at all....I'm always here

-Cheers

Competition between dealers and such. Keeps the place from being a battleground.

I apologise, I was just very frustrated and frankly, didn't know the difference between street and retail prices, so, again, I'm sorry.

But that TMS guy really isn't normal, you know. A couple of years ago he was selling A.S.S.-es and Petrucci's for 3-4 times the US price.

Which is not the case with other brands here. Even though they're also much more expensive. This is just way out of line.

Often times when you walk into a Music Store the salesman are going to push whatever guitar/bass they have hanging on their wall at home. Musik Meyer GmbH is our German distributor and they do and have done an excellent job of promoting, servicing and selling the EB/MM line. Generally speaking it is best to conctac them directyl with any customer service related issue's, rather than relying on the individual store. Once again guys my door is always open and I appreciate any and all "end customer" feedback. But lets try to either PM or e-mail me direct.
