Guitar Center shipped out a Rosewood Axis SS to me this afternoon!!!
YES, I'm finally going to have an ErnieBall MusicMan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it! From a USA Schecter Koa, to a Parker Fly Mojo, to the sweetest neck I've ever felt, that being the rosewood axis. Seems unreal, kind of dreamlike. I think I'm gonna cry:D .
Thanks to all who have put up with my long, drawn out posts, my bickering and whining, and most importantly, my indecisiveness. I'll post pics when I get it.
First, the Rosewood. Next, hopefully my wife is pregnant (Dec. 1).

For Free?
Hah! NO! I wish.
Thanks guys. I have played a rosewood axis before and fell in love with the neck. I can't say it's the best looking guitar, but my taste changes from day to day:D . But that neck! Man, there ain't nothing ugly about that. I remember I played it through a line 6, and it sounded great too. That sound is right up my alley, dirty and aggressive; kind of a P-90 meets Seymour Duncan JB.
Will post pics when I receive it.
Also, I purchased an ErnieBall MusicMan Dealer banner on ebay this past summer in anticipation of me purchasing an EBMM. I'll take pics of the guitar with the banner in the backround.

Which one, BP? The guitar or the banner? As I noted in a previous thread, I sent an email to the store's manager informing him of the incident. I specifically stated that "I didn't want to be rude", but I felt the need to inform him of the incident. He called me to apologize and explain the situation. Nice guy, very professional.
Bought the guitar, nuff said.
Per UPS tracking, it should arrive next Tuesday.
Thanks for the help, BP. I appreciate it. Any time you need a dietitian to speak at a seminar for the Casey Lee Ball Foundation, just let me know (renal disease is my specialty).
Pics next week.
Everyone have a good and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
And remember, don't drink and play......you might sound like me:D .

I remember I played it through a line 6, and it sounded great too.

The Rosewood guitar RULES!!! THAT ALONE is a testament of the pure awesomicity of the Music Man guitars. The fact that even through a LINE 6 amp, the guitar still sounded good! If you're pondering buying Line 6 amp, spend the extra $4 and get a Crate G40-C from 1988. At least you'll get TWO speakers and EQ knobs that are actually wired to something.

Ok, I'm done. Sorry for all the sarcasm. I'll stop now. I have to use a L6 spider weekly and the tone, for lack of a better word, aggravates me to death. Anyway, you got a killer guitar! Congrats! :)

Casino Royale ruled!!!

Darch didnt want to vilolate the manager at Guitar Centers confidence but I think that it would be wrong to not explain what Guitar Center did in the name of customer service
Darch was quoted a stipidly low price by a stupid new employee . He was quoted this price accidentally by a drum salesman. When the problem was discovered the problem was fixed immediately. If Darch had pulled the trigger he could have had it that the wrong below cost price. He didnt and GC no longer offered the guitar at the wrong price.

Next comes the normal GC bashing butnot by Darch he is dissappointed but cool. Two of the most senior management who frequent this forum saw the thread and offered explanation. Darch emailed the manager with his dissappointment and the manageer offered to sell the guitar at zero profit. To say that this sale didnt happen becuase Guitar Center didnt go the extra mile would be unfair.

It really biugs me when example of superb cuostmer service are swept under the rug but the most minor infractions are run up the flag pole.

PBoth parties are happy and all is good in mm land
