Help! I can't decide!

So now that tangerine pearl is here, I decided that I will not let another orange finish escape my grasp. I know I want a single H Bongo 5, but I can't decide on the pickguard color. I have it narrowed down to black and black pearloid. Opinions please.

All opinions are appreciated really. Normally I like tort on just about every other color, but for some reason it just doesn't sit well with me on an orange instrument.

White pearloid is definitely to be expected and an obvious choice for those who want that creamsicle look.

being the weird guy i am, i actually think a peal blue or green would look good XD i get custom pickguards on every bass i get tho.. (clear pickguard is always a plus)

no.. the only answer to tort is glossy black

for an orange bass you should try a plexi pickguard.. maybe put a picture you like underneath it.. that orange goodness deserve to shine!

I voted Black as the Pearl is way too busy for me but I'm 100% with Mr. Douglas with a Tort guard, good luck in your quest

I voted plain black to.
Black Pearloid is defiantly cool as is Tort & White Pearloid, all depends on what colour your putting it up against.
With that orange the black pearloid might be a bit to in-your-face, but i would defiantly consider tort as an option !

Since the Bongo has a rosewood board, a dark pickguard is the way to go, so .... tort, or black

The plain black on my desert gold bongo just makes me feel like its missing that little bit of "pop".
