I know what you mean about dealers not carrying stock.

About 20 minutes away from the EBMM Coachella factory is the desert's only small mom and pop music store that carries EBMM and they only have a couple basses and maybe a silo. They used to have a Mr. Horsepower on display but I haven't seen that lately and it wasn't for sale anyways. None of the GC, which are at least 50 miles away have the guitars in stock either. It gets frustrating.

The owner of the store was supposed to get a customer's JP for me to try but that never metriculated. Oh well, just venting.

The GC that's in Austin (which is at the very least an hour drive for me) had 3 EB's: A scratched up Axis with a broken string, a JP6 missing both knobs and a black Luke with a big ding by the input jack.

But of course they have a big wall of shiny PRS's.

I push EBMM like crack. "Here. Try my guitar/bass just this one time. It won't hurt you."

The bass player in my band is playing my Bongo 4HH and now saving up for a Bongo 5H.

I brokered a deal to his roomate for an Axis Sport that I've held entirely too long for DaveB. He now has a Lava Pearl JP on order.

And they told two friends. And so on and so on and so on........

Thats why we have Pete and Nick DuBaldo, real EBMM dealers who give a damn about the guitars and customers, I honestly do not need to go to a store and play one if I want it I will buy it new from them, not a EBMM that I do not like:)

Yeah, I hear ya Beagles.

It's just annoying to me that there aren't any good stores with a good selection of instruments. I think a lot of people would really be a lot more turned onto them if they actually went to stores that kept a decent stock and took care of them.

Call me crazy! :D

Yea Jeffery I understand what you are saying, been down that road, for me personally I will just buy from DuBaldo since I am converted, but since this thread is about converting people, you are right, I have a buddy at work that I am trying to convert but hard when you cannot find one to test.

That's 2 so far, only a few hundred thousand more to go! :D

A friend of mine from church one day asked about an American Strat. I said "dude, you can get so much more from MusicMan, and you can choose your specs". He picked out the colors he liked (Silo Special, SSS, white, white perloid, maple, hard tail, no matching headstock). He said "that's pretty sweet! Here's $500, order me one."

Another friend from college just got a silo, full loaded. He's modded it some (coil tapping and phasing). He is thrilled to tears with it.

Another customer came in last night and tried a Steve Morse Y2D. After figuratively falling on the floor several times (look at that neck! look at that top! Wow that plays good! This puts my Les Paul and Strat to shame!) he asked if we took trade ins. I said "yes  "
