Hey All;
Just got off the phone with my guy at Bizarre Guitar in Reno, and I cancelled my order for a Historic Les Paul and applied my money to an Axis BFR in Blackburst (Quilted). I don't think he will place the order until tomorrow, so obviously I have no idea how long my wait will be, but it is cool as I have my current Axis to keep me company in the mean time.
After playing Les Pauls and SGs for years, I never thought I'd play anything else. I got my Axis and fell in love with it. I play so much better on it than I have on ANY guitar from my past. I played a Les Paul today and realized how much harder it was to play, and how much it has been holding me back from a technical standpoint. I decided at that point to add more EBMM's to the pack instead of Gibsons, and figured the BFR is the way to go. Plus I am going to save $2K.
So, I guess I am an Axis user for life.
