I don't think EB will do refins. The first ding always hurts the most.

It happens. You can use some nail polish or some car touch up paint if you want to cover it up a bit.

If you want, im sure you can find a reputable person to fix it for you but i'd guess it would cost way too much to bother.

One of my Axis has a similar battle scar, I think I will try the nail polish or Auto paint touch up.

Think of it like that's just the first...
I know it hurts, but guitars are made to be gigged.
My father has an orginal strat from 1976, it was white, but now has turn into that lovely vintage yellow color, and has got a lot of dents in it, but you just know that that guitar has been gigged to death, and has done it's job all these years and can be proud of all the placese it's been gigged at, and it can show all the other guitars her scars, and tell them how she got them....what can a shiny, brand new guitar say??? :p

I am trying to think like that but it is not so easy:) you know, when you think about the money you spent on it, and the time that you spend on polishing and taking care of it.... it makes you think twice:)

Nuno,

I know "exactly" what you're going thru. After years of playin', I still go thru that when it happens.

But here is a good and logical way to look at this. I got this from going thru the same dilemma with my cars.

I park 100 yards away from entrances to avoid door dings: So, when I get a door ding, or a window ding (rocks), I NEVER repair those - I wait until there is a sufficient quantity and then I do them all at the same time, and I am back to "brand new".

This way I know in my mind, that this ding/dent will one day be gone - rest easy my friend.:)

Sometimes stuff happens, if it is real bad seek a professional to repair it other wise live with it, I put a small ding on my Dargie Silo I bought from Rob due to my bum elbow but it is stil a killer guitar, just a love mark and makes it truly mine now:)

If it fell off superglue it back on

The piece cracked into million little pieces:) I think I am gonna just live with it. The guitar is working and sounds great (maybe eve better :p) and that piece of paint is not to obvious. I am starting to accept it like it is:)
