I just acquired another Albert Lee. I was going to wait and order a P90 model but this one came my way unexpectantly. I didn't know it at the time but my local dealer had ordered a second AL when he ordered mine. This one a trans gold non trem with matching headstock. It arrived a few weeks after mine and when I saw it well I just had to have it. My wife thinks I have lost my mind. The birdseye on the neck is amazing. I'll have pics of both soon. Gosh I love these guitars!

Very cool and not fair at the same time. It's almost unthinkable to me to just 'come across' an Albert Lee. Let's see some pics!

This just makes my news from yesterday even worse. I found out that a major form for my taxes didn't get mailed out and the IRS said it maybe 6-8 weeks before the matter is taken care of!!!
My dealer won't order the AL without half down. So all and all it's gonna be 5-7 months before I finally get my AL.

However, I hope you enjoy your new additition. How does she play?

The guitar plays fantastic. Both play really well. I'll get those pics as soon as I can borrow a digital camera. Buying one right now is sorta out of the question if you know what I mean. I'm sorry to hear it is going to be a little longer before you get your "first" Albert Lee. Don't fret (pun intended ) too much because believe me Shnook it will be worth the wait. Besides that it will give you more time to spend here and really decide what options you might want. Just as a side note......I read another thread where naming your guitar was mentioned. Well I'm gonna go ahead and do the same. My first one will be christen "Albert" and the second "Lee".... :D :D :D

Congrats on the AL score musikarero! That's three of us on the board now with more than one Albert Lee! A couple more and they'll have to give us our own Forum! :D

You crazy Albert Lee HOGS! You and your multiple AL inventories and me in lonely-ville with my zero. On the bright side, I have already put out the feelers to my wife that this is the guitar I want (try leaving spec sheets around the house in obvious places to send "hint" vibes. These places can include, but are not limited to, the coffee table, casually laying on a stack of mail, innocently stapled to the cats, used as wallpaper in the bedroom, whatever! Be Creative!) This should make that Albert Lee I want all but mine in a matter of a few short decades.

I am not sure where I am going with this, but jelousy does make me kind of weird...

Anyway, way to go on your score!

:):):)

Just 2 here...Peter, I'm considering unloading my black hardtail if you're interested.

I guess I should give musikarero first dibs since it used to be his...

If a hadn't just bought two in the last month.....LOL.....it would be very tempting. Maybe Shnook would be interested. I know he wants one pretty bad. Thanks for the offer though.

Well, I know there has been a guitar or 2 in my past I wish I could get back, figured I'd give you a shot at it.
