Hey,

I'm new on this forum, subscribed yesterday. About 6 months ago I bought myself a new Music Man Silhouette Special Hardtail. Since then, playing guitar hasn't been the same. What a revolution.

I remember the times before EBMM. The dark dark past... When I had to change/add/mod my guitar to be satisfied. A desire for THE perfect guitar was too much for me to handle - I became as some might call it : Guitar Freak. Only one builder could satisfy me. Only one brand, and that is fender. Altough it took me some time to master my Fender Tele RK, I still had the feeling the neck was too big for my hands, and I changed the Coils frequently. The sound was great. But the feeling wasn't.

Then, after a couple years of scavenging to get the ultimate guitar, I heard about a sale in this big guitar store in Holland. And there was my first EBMM, behind glass in the ''special'' department. The Silo Spec..... New love was born.

Two weeks ago. After my gig, I happen to lost track of my ( backup guitar) Tele RK. It got stolen. What a relief. Two days ago, I got money from the insurance company. I rushed to the guitar store to get a very very rare NEW 20th Silo. And MY GOD ERNIE, WHY?! WHY??!!!! I do NOT have enough time to spend on this guitar, it's ruining my spare time so far. I know I'm going to be playing all day and night. I have it next to me right now and I'm too tempted to start playing - So I'm ending this topic.

Hopefully you guys got to know me a little bit and my newborn obsession with EBMM Guitars. I love this forum already ( I do have to admit; I've been browsing the forum since my first EBMM )

Cheers,

Pete

ps. I'm posting some pics from my collection soon here

Welcome on board Silo - it is a great forum to be a member of.

Similar to yourself I was a "one brand" man from the early 70's - then in 2005 I discovered
EB MM guitars - and the rest is history.

Get those pictures uploaded asap.:D

Welcome aboard! Wise choice on the Silo hardtail...don't forget to post some pics!

I have been (nearly) everywhere on my "guitar journey" (i.e. tried LOTS of different guitars!), first time I tried a EBMM I was instantly hooked...found my home with EBMM! And as Spud said...the rest is history:)
