I guess I'll share a little something about me

Since I'm still pretty new here and so far all of my contributions have been about my new Morse, I thought I'd make a thread to share something about me & what I do.

I play guitar in a band called Devils of Belgrade. We released our 2nd album on June 11th and it seems to be getting pretty good reviews. The latest one just got posted on MetalReview.com.

This isn't meant to be SPAM - this band is just a huge part of my life right now so it's kind of requisite in getting to know me. Whether that's worth the investment of your time, I can't say. I do think it's good to be able to put the things people say on message boards into context though.

Anybody else here play in a band I can check out? Post a link!

Hey - welcome aboard! Lots of guys here play in bands. I always think it's a good idea to place a link in your sig to your band's website or Youtube channel so that at any point someone can check out your stuff - you never what comment you make is going to make someone go: "Huh! I wonder what kind of music that guy plays?"

Also - it means that people can find that info no matter which section of the forum you post in. The "General Music Discussion" doesn't seem to have the traffic that other sections do.

In fact, I gotta go put a link to my Youtube channel in my sig right now! Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks - I do the band-link-in-the-sig thing on other forums.. Not sure why it didn't occur to me to do it here! I guess I didn't want to presume too much when I joined since this place is company-operated and you never know what kind of policies are in place...

Just for the record and to inform all the fellow knuckleheads, I have both Devils of Belgrade albums and they are REALLY good. If you're a fan of high-octane instrumental metal with killer tunes, awesome hooks and knuckle-busting riffs, I highly recommend them.

Thanks... I really do mean it. I don't go out of my way to promote local/independent music unless I think the whole damn world needs to hear it. I think you guys tapped into something really awesome with DoB.
