I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag!

You guys probably saw my thread about getting a bongo as my next bass.

I was certain that I wanted a 5HH but you guys really made me consider the 5H. I will go ahead and tell you guys that I want to get a 5H but right now, that HH just was calling me.

Here is what I am getting:

Is it just me or does this bass look like a Stealth Bomber?

Gracias! I'll admit, I wasn't a fan of the look, but it has slowly grown on me. Like a woman, it's curves are SO sexy!

It reminds me of the stealth too and that is a compliment. I hope to have a Sky Blue Bongo 4HH in the future.

Just wait til you hold it. Makes other basses seem like big honkin' slabs.

I don't think it resembles a stealth fighter. The sharp angles and facets aren't there. The BMW influence is certainly clear, though....

I got the same one, just with the piezo, comes in tomorrow. You get yours from TB? I was looking at that one too but for a little extra grabbed the piezo. I have a darker custom pickguard but I may like yours better. I'll take some pics & I'll probably offer my guard up for trade.

That's a beautiful color. I went into GC today to try out that SR5 again and I walked out with a Sterling 4H instead. I guess I just couldn't wrap my head around the 5th string but more b/c that Sterling just had the tone!!

I love the neck profile of a 5 string. I started on a 5 so a 4 has just never felt right to me. Which Sterling did you get?
