...that I was hanging out with BP. He was showing me some of the prototypes of basses that he had in the works, and under wraps (TOP SECRET). :)

One of the basses was the next generation of the Gamechanger. It had an LCD backlight display, and was totally futuristic. :eek:

It was so real that when I finally woke up, I was pissed! I tried and tried to go back to sleep, but to no avail. :(

Did you happen to be reading latest issue of Premier Guitar magazine before you went to bed? There was a cover story and an article from Winter NAMM with something similar to what you are describing prominently displayed on the cover.

Its an very interesting article. But I think everybody, (especially bass players) would miss the strings, and buttons on frets:eek:
