because it feels and plays better than my Blue Dawn Sterling (aka Joey)! the damn thing is perfect and i really never thought anything could top my BD but there's something about this new one thats just amazing ...

The necks of the 2 Sterlings feel different but this definately has to do with the setup. I'm gonna have to get Joey a propper setup.

I think im gonna go on a mission to own as many Sterlings as humanly possible. (that's code for "Jazz bass for sale". LoL)

Arin,

I've got a nice Lava Pearl here....... oh yeah and a RadRed Bongo :p

Maybe have Jon pimp out the Joey?

Jon has already pimped Joey up but ive unpimped her by accident LOL.

when i sell this J bass ill give ya a call about that sterling ... what's her stats: does it have matching headstock? pg color? fingerboard?

wow im a whore

ok - pics were taken, internet stuff was accessed and typed and mouse buttons have been clicked ...

my J is officially on sale to make room for another Sterling. i looks nice but its no Sterling. honestly the only reason ive hung on to it was cuz its trans orange, but id rather have a trans orange Sterling :)

My Mission: To have more Sterling's than Bovine's got Bongos

Shoot for the moon, brother! How many Sterlings do you have now? Two?

Your mission may be easier than you suspect....I'm down to two four bangers and two fivers with one fiver on order and one fiver on hold for a customer to be named later, so - if you have two, all you have to do is double your inventory and we're even.

Once you have five Sterlings, you're in.

Unless I sell that Rumblefish.....thinking, thinking, thinking.......

Then you'll need six, but hey, six is not a lot.

I'll have 14 once the Bongo arrives, but my Balls to "other basses" ratio are way off. There will be a thinning of the herd and a few new purchases to achieve a better Ball balance.

A Sterling H/Sc, A fretless, maybe another fiver… God what an addiction! :D

The only non EBMM bass in my future is a Roscoe, Gard was telling me about a 3 string they are building, I’m going to go look at it one day this week.

Glad to hear your BC Sterling has that special feel!

Jon had leveled & crowned the frets on my Sterling so I know of what you speak re: the "feel" - like no other.

ya, i have 2, and the HS is on order - so thats 2 1/2 i guess; in Jan ill have 3 for sure. Once this Jazz bass is sold and i have $ ill either buy another one or wait till Jan and buy an HH from someone who has one in stock ... or wait till Jan NAMM to find out if theres a new LE color.

im not so good at waiting so we'll see

just an update on my addiction/mission ...

Someone is gonna swing by today to buy my Jazz bass :) so that will make room (physical room and budget room) for another Sterling :)

i just hope they dont flake after all the BS negortiation over email. selling stuff is a pain in dee arse

Arin,

All those Sterlings coming in and you dont own a Bongo yet.

I played mine with a pick the other and it was great.
