I drove down to The Perfect Bass today but they were closed.. I wanted to try out a HH stingray instead of the normal H stingrays. There pretty cheap there too so I might have bought one. Anyways... I can't wait, does the 2nd humbucker pickup sound anything like I p bass? I like the Stingray H for fingerstyle but rather a p bass for a pick. So maby I can get one of these lol. I don't think im agravating with my stupid questions, I mean at least it gives you guys something to talk about.

Sorry to rain on your parade... but for some of us it seems never to stop. Eternal GAS. It used to bug me a lot. But, finally I just went with it--that relieved a lot of stress (at least mental stress, not so much for the pocketbook). I think it's an addiction. Lord knows how many basses and guitars I've owned. It's embarrassing. Sorry... but if you are one of "us," it never stops. Sheesh, maybe someone should come up with a 13 step plan for us "bassaholics."

I think having options are great, if you look at Ibanez and Fender they are very limited. You cant have the colour you want on a certain model, whats the point in that?

I agree 100 percent, but Fender does it to keep their costs and waiting times down. Plus they can play into the fact that if you're buying a Fender, you're probably of the mind that Sunburst, Oly. White, etc are the only legitimate colors for a guitar/bass. One more reason why I like EBMM - you can make your own legacy with a purple/sparkle/transparent bass with piezos and a matching headstock, instead of buying into the Fender legacy. Harder to make those your own, most definitely!
