its been a rough few years to say the least. I was laid off in Jan of 2009 and went into business for myself. That was great until my customers stopped paying their bills. It forced me to go back to retail this last July to make ends meet and I didn't mind the discount on the engagement ring! (I now work for the company that sells the "little blue box") There have been good things... didn't have to sell the HHAL to buy the ring (thought its still available) got engaged (as mentioned), have the wedding just about paid off and was just starting to feel like we were getting ahead again and tonight she killed one of the Mini Cooper Rims on a curb... can't wait to see what a rim and 2 tires are going to cost me! Did I mention there is only 8000 miles on the car?

So Yeah, I feel everyone's pain! Robuster, I would totally buy that 20th if I had the extra cash right now. The Pink Tribute or the AMAZING Blue one I just passed on last month... too many wants and not enough Money!

The economy is weak but thanks to the cheap housing market looks like Ill be getting some more room for my toys soon. I really want my own room for drums and amps and stuff. And @Roubster your 20th is mesmermizing my brain, that guitar is gourgeous!

If you can have everything easily life becomes boring. It makes you enjoy the thing you already own.

I am lucky to have a solid job with a good company. I've been here almost 9 years and like what I do ( we all have our days though). I frequent these forums and often find myself wishing I could afford an EBMM. I then get a grip and realize I am lucky to be where I am in life and I enjoy my silo30 that much more. Now, hopefully that G string I just replaced will stop going flat after a deep string bend and all will be right with the world lol :)

No doubt about it being the time to buy, as it has been going on 4 years now! As far as that is concerned I would not fret (no pun intended lol) as I see at least another 4 years of the same. If you have a roof over your head and your health then you are just fine. I am 10 minutes from all the madness going on down at Wall St, and guys this is no joke the shape we are in.But we have been through worse and sooner or later things will turn around. If you are going to buy a guitar just make sure it is the one! I honestly see too many guys buying new guitars and then putting them up for sale in a few months, which with the way things are is the way to get hurt.

I'm with you, radrock. Been pinching pennies since the housing market crashed and burned.. haven't bought any new toys for a few years now. It's hard to look at this forum when EBMM keeps coming up with such amazing stuff that you aren't in a position to buy! Ah, well.. this too shall pass, my friend. Better days ahead!

I'd like to be able to sell a guitar or two. Tough being a seller out there now. It truly is a buyers market.

I'd be happy to break even. :(
