I'm sorry, there is no help. The only help I can offer is (if you haven't already) to NOT play the thing. It's the best horse in Engl's stable and I LOVE Engl's so that's telling (me) something. Excellent, amesome amp. :D

Having said that: from everything I've heared of the AxeFx (saw it "live" too for the first time on the Messe), I'ld be perfectly happy with an Ultra. That machine sounds bloody amazing.

That's how it starts!!! It goes almost unnoticed until it is too late. Then it is almost nearly impossible to ever turn back. There are however support groups throughout the country where you can find others going thru the same thing you are.

Whatever you do, just don't turn it above 7 after the sun goes down, that will definetly get you arrested for possession.

Ow and Marty, we should defenitely meet up in the near future. I'm curious about the Floyd, and I could bring my Axe for you to try if you'd like.

I think the Morse head is actually cheaper than the Invader. I was going to stick with the Invader, but having 4 channels was overkill for me. When I found out the Morse head was like a 3 channel version of the Invader and it was cheaper, that made the decision easy for me.

However, to justify the expense, I use it on everything from big theaters to tiny clubs. There are times when a 30 watt combo would do the trick, but I bring the Morse head and a 2x12 anyway.

gear addiction is funny that way.

I had a Morse for a while but returned it for the InVader. I just couldn't get comfortable with the 2nd channel on the Morse but I really liked the 3rd channel alot. Since the Morse was based off the InVader I thought why not give that one a shot. LOVED IT!

In the end I am very happy with my decision. IMO any ENGL beats out ALL other amps.

Ow , yes you are right, it's (a little) cheaper. BTW your clean tone demo has contributed to the sudden GAS attack...geez, thanks man ;)

BTW. Does it store EQ settings in the midi presets, or just the channel and "button settings"?
