I bought an old Strat on Friday. I'm still a Music Man addict, but does this mean I could be changing to the dark side? It's a vintage strat (1980), so hopefully my EB forum peers will still accept me as a lover of balls. You gotta admit, it's a beauty . . . the brass hardware, the NINE pickup options. I JUST COULDN'T RESIST!! I'm so sorry! Don't forever cast me from the forums, please . . .

Believe me, I still love Music Man, I just thought the others should know of my weakness. I swear it won't happen again . . .

Keep me in your prayers through these trying times. ;)

Oh it´s a THE STRAT, the first attempt of them to make a modern guitar.
Nice colour but now you have to buy another EBMM for not getting banned and misusing BP´s bandwidth.
Have fun with it, buddy. (although you won´t play it often;-)

I think By all Definitions "Vintage" has to be 30-35 years right? I have an 80's Strat that isn't considered vintage yet...

Yeah, you are definitely correct. But the chicks like hearing the word "vintage", and so it is! :D

If you're happy than Im happy!

The old goat in me does chuckle that 70' & 80's CBS Strats are considered vintage and are commanding premium prices.

One of the great differences between women and guitars is that you can try another guitar for awhile with no repercussions....

uh well...

hey don't sweat it too much I'm still a little F$#%@@ afflicted myself, but that's only untill I get a job and then save up for an AL. I would very much like an Al with rosewood board. The photo is clickable.
