I decided to swing by my local EBMM dealer of choice(Willie's American Guitars in Saint Paul) and saw they had a couple Music Man boxes yet to be opened. One of them happened to be a Buttercream Ray so of course I asked if I could see it. They took it out for me and let me get the first test drive. My friends, this color is sweet as can be in person. It's much more pearly than I thought it would be and maybe a tad lighter in color then what I expected but the burgundy lettering really sets it off. The case is also outstanding. I was a little worried the Pao Faro would look a bit weird on this color but I think it's going to look really nice.

I am not going into my local shop over BC Stingrays. I am a sucker for the color I know. Too old to suffer a divorce over a bass. Such a dilemma. They got an SR5 in BC ooh the pain of it all. They get a BC Bongo I guess I am on the way to being single again. That is if it has 5 strings.
