but, I just got a glimpse of the "Bass Extremes Live" DVD with Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey......It blew me AWAY.
Steve's command of harmonics is nothing short of brilliant, and of course, Vic's playing is awe-inspiring. Anyone else seen it?
I also got to check out the Bill "The Buddha" Dickens video also.....it's amazing what that guy does with those monster basses he has. What was of particular interest to me is how he was able to damp all of the strings he wasn't playing.....
Seeing those DVDs just lets me know that the only boundaries for the instrument that I love are the ones that I impose on it.
