Banging your Al just doesn't sound right!
Please edit to ding instead. ;)
Unless of course you might be female.
Not that there's anything wrong with it!

maybe if you had some extra black pickguard material added it would have been a bit more protected:rolleyes:

:p:p

LOL! How well deserved was that! :D:D:D

The ding doesn't exist without pics !!!

Your wish is my command, oh Second in Command!

I am Larry. I brought it to practice on Monday and played it through my Orange 4x12 - Hloy Hannah!:eek: The other guitar player just fell in love with it (he also builds amps as a hobby - said he ought to just quit after hearing the TT :D). You can see a picture of the offender below.

that's a bummer!
Looks like a job for some shiny black nail varnish and build it up over a couple of weeks - take it nice n easy and don't try putting too much on in one hit.

Pfffffttttt!!!

I was thinking this was now license to NOT BE CAREFUL any more with worrying about the guitars finish! Heck, I even considered having it aged professionally. I love the feel of those extreme relic'd f**ders. Nice and broken in. If only the necks felt as nice and the tone was on par with the AL (and if it wouldn't cost the same as 2 ALs to get one! ;))

Ha - you oughta see the reliced guitars my mate handbuilds from scratch- awesome!

Nah I wouldn't fancy doing it to a new guitar - but if I bought a beat up Al - I'd definitely think of getting it done.
