Read 'em all in a glimpse...

Cool advice! I'm also an antrepeneur and loved BP's input on many things!

Thanks for sharing! And would be cool to have more of these "rants"!

I never knew all the stuff about evh and the 5150 strings and kramer not paying royalties, awesome read! And his so you wanna be a rockstar blog, another awesome read! So sad but true, the music biz is a sham nowadays, nowhere for young artists to start and grow, just these lame corporate manufactured bands, and fake autotune singers, the real musicians are a dying breed, and this climate is going to breed a tasteless uncultured generation full of vane untalented ( artists?) what a joke to call 90% of the stuff nowadays ( art).

Real rock is just about gone, so sad, it will always have small niche, market of sorts, but the days of any young guys dreaming of playing stadiums and madison sq and Boston garden are gone, and makes me so sad. But at least there will always be great musicians, they will just never get the recognition or pay they deserve.

BP is always full of surprises. One of my favorites was a GC Sessions where he was with JP and they were talking about how sometimes being a good guitarist isn't all about being fast. Then JP does a riff. BP comes back with a screaming fast riff. I gotta think the whole thing was planned but it nearly threw me off my chair and still makes me crack up. Yah.....I was expecting some slow, melodic song to counter JP's riff. Bam!
