EB acoustic strings are highly underrated. They sound wonderful. I'm particularly fond of acoustic slinkies. They are hard to find over here though. Nothing but Martin over here with I'd guess D'Addario and Elixir coming in second as far as I can see.

The string section of the forum is also highly underrated. I'd like to see that take off a bit. Not that strings on their own garner much interest but maybe include accessories and pedals over there too?

"Fresh" EBMM strings -yummmm!! To ME it's like getting my same MM guitar "brand new" again. I enjoy new strings frequently (even though they may last forever), it revisits the "newness" of the guitar again!!! Love it!!

I never knew they existed until robelinda2 mentioned them when he received one of his Als.
I've been looking for a loca dealer to buy some. There's one more shop to try. Hopefully they'll have them.
My acoustic is in deperate need of some new strings, so it's perfect!!! :)

I'm particularly fond of acoustic slinkies.

Slinky Acoustics are my favorite! Sound beautiful right of the bat and they make my fingers happy :)

I like the maple syrup & oatmeal smell that the packaging has.

Word to that!! Sometimes I hang empty packs from my rearview mirror!

Are those the phosphorus bronze?

Earthwoods are 80/20 bronze
Slinky Acoustics are phos bronze

Pete,
Do they make a 12 string set?

Earthwood 12 string sets come starting with a 9 or 10
Slinky Acoustic 12 string set comes only in a 9

Jodi,
Thanks for the clarification. I'll be placing an order for some 12-string slinkys...

I also had a few questions about picks, but I'll PM if you don't mind.

thanks,
fred
