As some of you know I am the owner of a Silo. I bought it because I believe it to be the best all around guitar on the market. Not to mention, Music Man guitars and basses are the highest quality instruments in the world.

I spent an hour or so playing different Music Man guitars yesterday at Guitar Center. I can say with confidence that I would be happy if I never gigged with another brand again.

I actually have anxiety from time to time that Music Man will change hands or designers, etc and not make guitars like they do today. Sometimes I freak out and think about buying 8 or 10 guitars and just storing them just incase.

Keep making the best guitars on the planet!

EEMM for life!

First guitar I ever fell in love with was the HM model that Fender made back in the late 80s early 90s. As a college kid, it wasn't in my budget and they eventually quit making them. I regretted not being able to buy it and longed for one for about 20 years. It was a bit like the Holy Grail guitar for me. Finally found one in mint condition a little over a year ago and bought it. It's been out of the case maybe a dozen times in the last year. I still like it, but there's just no comparison to my Axis.

My wife laughs at me every time we go to a music store, because I used to play tons and tons of guitars and want to buy them all. These days I rarely find even one or two guitars in a store that I want to take home. I usually play one and say, "It's OK, but it's not my Axis." Now, if one of my local stores were to become an EBMM dealer and keep a few in stock, I might be in a little bit of trouble ...

As a fellow convert to the cult of Music Man, I definitely know where you're coming from. :D

Glad with your answer Big Poppa.
Just like Hendog and fellow nuckelheads, I am worried sometimes: "what if some big company is going to take things over?" "What if they do not make the guitars anymore like they do now?"
(gladly my wife comforts me when I wake up in the middle of the night screaming).

My big trouble in life is to put away the Luke or Silo and go to work....so, I am an addict....I admit....
