Coming in tomorrow. This was a TOTAL surprise  that my wife found. I've been really wanting a Pacific Blue Burst, :D because I'm a sucker for trans finishes. Thanks Robbie from ThePerfectBass.com for all of his help.

You found a good one (wife AND bass!) My ex-wife would have never bought me a new bass! BTW, rosewood or maple board on your orange Sterling 5?

Exact same setup as the PBB, just change the color to trans orange. I really love the maple necks. They just seem to have more bite, but that might just be in my head.

It's Here!!!

It's purely amazing! I mean it has the feel of my Rays, but the feel and weight of this bass is light! I mean my SR5 Blue Dawn weighs in at 11.7 pounds, and the Sterling 5 is only 10! It weighs less than either of my single H SR5's. I can't wait till this weekends gigs.

Indeed a very lucky man. How does it sound? Never had the chance to hear a Sterling 5, or a Sterling HH.

Great colour, and it just looks epicly powerful.

So far it does sound a little more punchy than my SR5's. I have 2 outdoor gigs on Sunday and Monday, so I will have to post my findings on Tuesday. I love the fact that it weighs only 10 pounds, compared to 11.7 on my SR5 Blue Dawn.
