... let me explain!!
As my job as SAA of the ALOC I have to travel around the country spreading the word
Yestreday I checked into the Raddison Hotel in Liverpool, availing myself of a couple of glasses of their complimentary white wine, and Bill Wyman checks in.
Then his backing singer Vicky, followed closely by Gerraint Watkins - the keyboard player with the Bill's band. I get talking to Gerraint about when we played Cardiff in the 70's and chewed the fat. I asked if Albert was staying and he said yes, but he was at the venue.
Anyway this morning at 7:45 Albert was in the retaurant stood all on his lonesome and I said something like Sterling Ball sends his regards - I later explained that I was on the ernie Ball forum.
I asked if he was playing in Wales soon and Albert went into a description of what he was doing in the near future - once again a gentleman to talk to.
I didn't want to impinge on his time - but it was great - talking to Albert in a corner of the restaurant - I wished him well .
-I was stoked talking to him.
