ooh just thought id put these pics from germany in aswell... just to avoid another thread...

we waited for about an hour to get served when it was flo trying.... as soon as i picked up a bass and asked, we had immediate help and were set up with free rein of all the EBMM basses and the mark bass gear... he he he. gotta love being a girl.

i taught flo his first bassline. he fell in love with the sterling.

I'm not going to say what I thought when I first saw the title of this thread ;)

We need to get our Tiff (besides ppl to play with):
a) a job/money
b)A BASS!!!!

What happened to the Tiff Blue Dawn fund? There has to be enough in there to get the girl a bass of some sort!!! :D

The only money in the fund is what I originally Paypalled last year to kick things off. For some bizarre reason, a lot of people (me included) were happy to throw wads of money at that guy whose bass got pawned by his drummer friend - and we've never heard from again since he got his bass back from the pawn shop thanks to our donations - yet a well loved regular Knucklehead like Tiffles gets nothing. After Tiffles forked out big bucks to fly to the US to hang out with you guys I thought it wouldn't have been a big ask for some of the regulars to kick in a little.

I knew nothing of it.

I have a Bongo that gets the crap played out of it and I would have helped out had I known.

Who has the blue dawn we were chipping in on and how much is it?

Show me where to donate. We all love Tiffles and I know that everyone would love to contribute (given that they are financially able.)

I'm all for contributing to such a fund, and I was back then too. I think what hjappened tho was that Steve volunteered to bid on a particular Blue Dawn Sterling and told us to hold out on the contributions until the bidding was over. Unfortunately, the bidding got crazy at the end and surpassed Steve's max bid. I can't recall if there were any more talks about getting Tiff a bass afterwards, tho.

That's what happened. There's not much else to add except the usual suspects were ready and willing to make it happen.

Now - back to the original topic!
