I haven't been hanging around any forums much these days, couple of annoying experiences over at that other place, and actually trying to play more than spend hours on the internet.

Ahh... but today my digestive system is having some serious malfunctions and I'm stuck here alternating this seat with another in my house ever hour or so. Ironically this happened on a day where I had to go for part 2 of my annual phsysical (the one I took for the 1st time in 20 years) and my bloodwork says I'm in awesome health. Not feeling it at the moment.

Yeah.. I'm bored, but I really do miss you guys. Had a long rehearsal yesterday with my Bongo and unwittingly had the balance on all bridge pickup. Was using a different amp too, and I can't tell you how smoking it was sounding. I'm still in love, even after all these years.

I heard a silly rumor over at that other place, about Poppa desigining a new stingray. Was that just some idiot spewing crap he/she knows nothing about (I didn't notice who posted it so sorry bout the idiot remark in advance), or is there truth? I didn't notice any post regarding it - but I'm sick and dehydrated.

So how are all yooz guys and girls?

Hey Joe! (I can never resist that line.)

Glad to hear from you again. Sorry you're not feeleing well today but it probably won't last long.

What you might have heard about is the Dargie Delight. BP and Dargin are going to offer it as a special color to the forum in any bass they make. Won't happen for a few more days though and it will only be offered, if I understand correctly, for 10 days. They are going to have them ready by Jack's B'day bash here in Dallas on November 4th.

If it was on that other place those morons were probably talking about the "new" HH and HS Stingrays now a year old.

I've flirted with the idea of practicing during the large amounts of time that i spend on forums. I actually have practiced a LOT the past week.

Welcome back.

Jack, I don't know what you're talking about. I feel I've missed a bit here. Can I see pics of these green basses? Are there any pics of these green basses? I also noticed a post where BP was dissing someone's green bass avatar, and I never even saw that bass. I'm green with envy over the all the green bass stuff I've been missing. I like green. Can someone fill me in a little better?

Dargin had a green bongo made for him. Bp kind of made fun of it but in return stirred up a lot of love for that finish. He is allowing a limited run of basses in that color. The details of the options will be decided by Dargin himself, but the Dargie Delight LTDs will be available on any model.

GUiseppe,

here is my take on physicals.....

1. You have to answer questions and cant lie.

2. They weigh you...

3. They put a blood pressure cuf on you.....

4. they ask you to cough...(with cold hands)

5. They put rubber gloves on and ask you to turn over

6. they wonder why you arent making step 5 easy...I say , Wouldnt you worry if I made it super easy? Then they say "You think I enjoy this/" I respond you are the one with the glove on.....

7.The doctor starts telling me about weight, exercise, and then would try to put me on lipitor and that is NOT A POSSIBILITY! You cant drink desert delights on Lipitor. (desert delight is fresh squeezed grapefruit from your unsuspecting neighbors tree with a generous heap of Ketel ONe. You can always tell come one that has just been put on Lipitor...their grapefruit tree is untouched.

I like that one. In this particular instance however I'm pretty sure the Dr. is gay, which makes it even more uncomfortable. I go to a volunteer physicians place that treats equity actors, and anyone else who can prove they earn at least half their living through the arts. It's an awesome place, a blessing that I cherish since I have no medical insurance.

But now I feel pushed to tell the story of step 5 in this particular instance. Your description of the physical was dead on lest some silly follow my finger with your finger games. That was between steps 3 and 4. Foreplay I guess, now that I think of it. Anyhow he does the cough test, then puts on the dreaded glove and explains apologetically that I'm over forty so this is part of the deal. He tells me to lean over the bench, goes to do his thing, looks and says, "WHOAH!, I forgot - you have a stomach virus. Things are too raw and inflamed to do this test now. You're going to have to come back." :D Yeah right! Off the hook . My girl will be pushing me though, I know it. She threatens me with her gyno appointments. You don't go, neither will I. She's away at camp now though (she's a nurse there) so I've got the summer to feel free.

I like the green, a lot. Don't have any of the other green though.
