....I think that's an Axis......correct me if I'm wrong.

and I'm thinkin' the bass is a Sterling,hard to tell......but the damn tone he gets,even on this crappy video,unreal

Nice! I haven't heard them in a while... forgot about MUCH Music as well. Fond memories of that channel growing up in Michigan.

Yep, the bassist for IME was Bruce Gordon and he used a Sterling with EMG pickups.

I saw these guys in concert in Calgary around this time (mid-late 90s) and I remember they had an awesome tone (both the guitar and bass) and put on a great show. I recall the guitarist was getting an astounding tone playing through a Wizard amp - very cool Canadian-made boutique amps. I don't know what the bass player was playing through but his bass tone was great.
