Please let me know how you make out.
Like you saw in the other thread, I was shattered when I picked it up yesterday. I see that customer service with EB is top notch, so I'm not overly worried. I just want it in perfect shape for this Saturday. (First gig in many years. And it's outside.)

I'm going to have it set up tomorrow.
Let me know how you do.

ive been using my sterling as my #1 for over 2 years. i swear its a tank. the only issue ever was that the black knob thinggy on the mode selector fell off. I called EB and they sent me a dozen ...

EB rules and bovine is right:
the eb support/service rules ... one of the many reasons that theyre the best company to buy a bass from (imho)

No Problemo!

Saturday night I played an outdoor gig here on Long Island and I was dreading the onset of nightfall, as things get muggy and cool down pretty quickly. I kept checking my neck and...nothing! Stayed just where it was when I started. I have it set with a perfect (for me) relief on the E side and almost flat on the G. Stayed like that all night. I have more dates lined up at the beach for later this month but I'm starting to think that my problem was a freak occurence, probably brought about by a combination of weather and the fact that I never touched the truss rod after I brought it home. I will report back at a later date.

No more sedatives

Played another beach gig last night. Same basic weather, temperature and humidity. Same time of day. Same ocean. No problems at all. Lots of fun and I am now fully confident in my Sterling's neck. Sounded great through my SVT II and a Goliath III. I'm throwing away the bottle! Thanks again to everyone who gave me helpful advice and especially to Jonguitarz at MM.
