I need an EB MM education

OK here is what I don't know (which is actually a lot)

Are the bass guitars at different price levels or quality or just different models?

Is the Stingray upper level then Bongo then Sterling or no?

You know what I mean or are they all the same quality with different sounds?

Please explain.

They are just different models, different pickups and preamps. The Sterling is a little smaller in size, but all are top quality professional instruments.

There is a new "Sterling" brand with lower cost versions of the Stingray and Sterling coming out soon, but they too will be quality instruments, a replacement for the S.U.B. line. I think I have that right, if not I will be corrected.

What this man said, they're all of the same brilliant quality. The whole "sterling by musicman" sub company can be a bit confusing though. They're lower cost, made in korea i believe. Can't wait to try one.

like the guys said. there's a new line that will be available shortly called "Sterling by Music Man"... this is NOT the same as the Sterling bass itself: These Sterling by Music Man basses & guitars are licensed to be built offshore which saves on costs and that cost saving is passed on to the consumer.

The other Music Man guitars and basses are all equal quality, made in the USA, badass instruments
